CLC customer magazine issue 4

Dear reader,

In these times, it is a strategic necessity for companies to rethink business models and processes and undergo a fundamental transformation in order to remain competitive. Existing analogue and manual processes must be continuously optimized and automated as far as possible using digital technologies. Choosing the "right" combination of suitable technologies and AI-based approaches is a major challenge.

When evaluating and selecting suitable platforms and holistic solutions, legal requirements and mandatory standards are playing an increasingly important and decisive role alongside traditional IT issues. For example, we are currently discussing the cyber security standard relevant to the automotive industry with our customers and providing solutions for implementing the Renewable Energy Sources Act in the energy industry.

The topic of "sustainability" and the legal regulations on sustainability also regularly round off the range of requirements. Recently, I was once again able to support a specialist event as a speaker and demonstrate approaches on how to meet the regulatory requirements of the REACH and CLP regulations in process solutions, for example, or how to determine and evaluate the CO2 footprint along your own product structure.

A digital transformation of the ERP landscape is therefore extensive and complex, as we all see in our daily practice. So how do you take these factors into account when creating SAP-based solutions for ERP processes?

With our current issue of the CLC magazine, we would like to show examples of how companies from a wide range of sectors are facing up to the challenges with the support of CLC.

We hope you enjoy reading it.

Yours, Christian Bach

Managing Director, CLC xinteg GmbH
