This interest in the operational security of the server outweighs any interest in the immediate deletion of the above data. As a website visitor, you also have an equal interest in being able to access and use a website that is as secure as possible.
Consent as a legal basis
No personal data about you will be collected or stored without your consent - apart from the automatically stored log data (see above). Only you decide whether or not to disclose personal data for the purpose of making contact, project evaluation or application.
If you provide such data about yourself, you thereby give your consent to its storage and use in accordance with data protection law. The personal data you provide will be used exclusively to answer your inquiry or application or to send you the requested information or offers. If it is a project evaluation, the data will be stored for a maximum of two years.
You can revoke your consent to the processing of data at any time with effect for the future.
Cookies
Cookies are used to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.
Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions that you have requested are stored on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. There is a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of services.
The cookies we use are generally so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit.
However, cookies are also used that remain on your hard disk. Their expiry time is set to a date in the future. When you visit the website again, it will automatically recognize that you have already been on the website and which entries and settings you prefer (so-called long-term cookies).
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If you deactivate cookies, however, the functionality of this website may be restricted.
Real Cookie Banner
We use the "Real Cookie Banner" consent tool to manage the cookies and similar technologies used (tracking pixels, web beacons, etc.) and related consents. Details on how "Real Cookie Banner" works can be found at https://devowl.io/de/rcb/datenverarbeitung/.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data in this context is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
Our legitimate interest is the management of the cookies and similar technologies used and the related consents.
The provision of personal data is neither contractually required nor necessary for the conclusion of a contract.
You are not obliged to provide the personal data. If you do not provide the personal data, we will not be able to manage your consents.
Google Ads conversions and remarketing
Google Ads Conversions
This website uses the Google Ads service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House Barrow Street Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter: Google) to draw attention to our offers with the help of advertising material (so-called Google Ads) on external websites. As the provider, we can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are in relation to the advertising campaign data. We are interested in showing you advertisements about our offers and services that may be of interest to you.
The advertising is delivered by Google via so-called "ad servers". For this purpose, we use ad server cookies with which certain parameters for measuring success, such as the display of ads or clicks by users, can be measured. If you access our website via a Google ad, Google Ads will store a cookie on your computer. As a rule, the unique cookie ID, the number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), the last impression (relevant for post-view conversions) and opt-out information (marking that the user no longer wishes to be addressed) are stored as analysis values for this cookie.
These cookies enable Google to recognize your internet browser. If a user visits certain pages of an Ads customer's website and the cookie stored on their computer has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. A different cookie is assigned to each Ads customer. Cookies can therefore not be tracked via the websites of Ads customers.
The ad server cookies generally lose their validity after 30 days and are not intended to identify you personally.
We ourselves do not collect and process any personal data in the aforementioned advertising measures. We only receive statistical evaluations from Google. Based on these evaluations, we can recognize which of the advertising measures used are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of the advertising material; in particular, we cannot identify users on the basis of this information.
Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our level of knowledge: Through the integration of Ads Conversion, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding part of our website or clicked on the advertisement from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in to a Google service, it is possible that the provider will find out your IP address and store it.
You can prevent participation in this tracking process in various ways:
a) by setting your browser software accordingly - the suppression of third-party cookies means that you will not receive any ads from third-party providers;
b) by deactivating cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain www.googleadservices.com (https://www.google.de/settings/ads), whereby this setting is deleted when you delete your cookies;
c) by deactivating the interest-based ads of the providers that are part of the "About Ads" self-regulation campaign via the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices, whereby this setting is deleted when you delete your cookies;
d) by permanently deactivating it in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers under the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. We would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.
Google Ads Remarketing
In addition to Google Ads Conversion, we use the Google Ads Remarketing application. This application can be used to show you advertisements for our services after you have visited our website when you subsequently use the internet. This is done by means of cookies stored in your browser, which are used by Google to record and evaluate your usage behavior when you visit various websites. This enables Google to determine your previous visit to our website. According to Google's own statements, the data collected as part of Google Ads Remarketing will not be merged with your personal data that may be stored by Google (e.g. because you have registered for a Google service such as GMail). According to Google, pseudonymization is used for remarketing.
Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by Google as well as further information on your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy can be found in Google's privacy policy for advertising, available at http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/technologies/ads.
Legal basis for the processing
The legal basis for the processing of your data is the consent you have given via the cookie consent tool (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR).
Third country transfer
As part of the use of these tools, your personal data will also be transferred to a third country in compliance with the requirements of Art. 44 et seq. GDPR are also transferred to a third country. Google is obliged to comply with the level of data protection in the European Union by the agreement of the EU standard data protection clauses (if necessary in conjunction with additional guarantees) of the European Commission. The standard data protection clauses are freely available on the European Commission's website.
Despite these contractual and technical measures, it is possible that the level of data protection in the third country does not correspond to that of the European Union. The legal basis for the international data transfer that then takes place is your consent in accordance with Art. 49 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR, which you give via the consent in the cookie banner (or other forms, registrations, etc.). There is a particular risk, especially in the case of a data transfer to the USA, that your personal data may be processed by authorities for control and monitoring purposes, even without sufficient legal remedies, without us as the data exporter or you as the data subject being aware of this.
YouTube
Integration of YouTube videos
YouTube Video is a streaming service from Google (according to the above company name and address). We use the YouTube embedding function on our website, which enables us to display and play videos on our website.
To protect your data, we use a so-called consent banner in connection with our embedded YouTube videos. With the help of this banner, we can prevent your data from being processed by YouTube when you access the page on which the YouTube video is embedded, but only with your consent.
When you play a video on our website, YouTube uses local storage. As part of this service, Google processes the IP address, browser and device information (e.g. the operating system), the referrer URL and information about the videos viewed.
Google itself is responsible for the data processing described above. Please note that Google transmits the above-mentioned information to Google servers in the USA (see also the sub-chapter "Third country transfer" above).
The data is collected in accordance with Section 25 (1) TTDSG, the downstream data processing in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR on the basis of your express consent. You can revoke your consent at any time via the privacy settings at the bottom of our website in the consent tool.
